RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Operations
- o Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- o Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting
- o Production of monthly management accounts/financial reports for key stakeholders
- Financial Analysis / Business Partnering
- o Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- o Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- o Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- WIP Reporting
- o Develop and implement processes for accurate and timely WIP reporting.
- o Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather relevant project data.
- o Analyse WIP reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project budgets.
- Tax Compliance
- o Manage the preparation and filing of all required tax returns, including VAT.
- Other
- o Management of company insurance program, including liaising with Brokers and Insurer.
- o Management of company pension scheme.
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or ACMA
- Prior experience in a similar level role, within a facilities management, construction or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
