Maintenance Engineer

  • Maintenance experience of similar facility
  • Experience in repair and maintenance of plant, machinery and manufacturing premises
  • Planning and prioritising of activities
  • Knowledge of legislation compliance
  • Understanding of required quality levels for this type of business
  • New technology investigation and implementation
  • Previously a member of a project team from concept to completion
  • Dual site working – travelling
  • Plant and equipment maintenance
  • Facilitate continuous improvement to the site
  • Legislation compliance
  • Health, Safety and Environmental
  • Quality & Environmental Responsibilities
  • Maintain key production equipment such as paint plants, weld equipment, cranes, hydraulic tooling.
  • Maintain key site plant such as heating, AC, gas supplies and electrical.
  • Knowledge of maintenance software systems and databases
  • Planning and prioritising of activities
  • General management of own workload planning

What you must have!

  • Knowledge of intelligent automation and evidence of successful project management
  • NVQ3/HNC
  • Qualifications in Electrical, and Gas works.
  • Fork Lift Truck licence

Access Platform licence

  • Proficient in the use of

Microsoft Office –

Windows, Excel, Outlook etc.

  • Skilled in heating, ventilation, gas, air and water installations.
  • Skilled in hydraulic and air tool maintenance.
  • Ability to repair welding equipment
  • Ability to repair pipework and plumbing.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in the business
