Experienced Paraplanner needed for financial planning within the VET industry. The employee’s wellbeing and personal/career development is of paramount importance. This is a challenging and rewarding role where attention to detail and credibility are key.

Main Duties of the Paraplanner include:

  • You must have a level 4 diploma or the equivalent in experience
  • Prepare and maintain client files, compile a financial plan, compliance paperwork, client risk, client objectives, compile cash flow forecasts
  • Build cash flow models, guarantee cash flow modeling is correct, understand data from the planner and create developments using the cash flow modeling tool
  • Prepare Recommendationsidentify areas for planning, research independently and with the financial planner, prepare information for analysis for planner, liaise with clients, prepare draft recommendations
  • Oversee implementation of recommendationsoversee the completion of applicationensure compliance paperwork, and oversee changes to clients
  • Prepare client reviewsdeal with queries, build strong relationships, attend client meetings, update cash flow model for review

To be considered for the role of Paraplanner you will have:

  • RDR qualifications desirable
  • Consent to any background screen for the role
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a financial planning company
  • Certificate of Financial Planning or the equivalent
  • Strong IT skills, word and spreadsheet knowledge
  • Report writing understanding
