Payroll Team Lead – Full time, Permanent – Worcestershire

This organisation is urgently looking for Payroll Team Lead to join their rapidly expanding business. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior level Payroll professional. You will be tasked with working alongside and supporting the Payroll Manager to support the End to end Payroll processing for the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

Hands on end to end Payroll processing, including Manual Calculations, P11d, Pensions calculations and administration

Essential skills and Experience:

  • Solid experience with hands on Payroll processing, end to end
  • Manual calculations
  • Experience with LGPS Pensions calculations and administration
  • Experience with high volume inhouse payrolls
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Effective time management to meet strict deadlines
  • Works well as part of a team and individually
  • To always have a proactive approach
  • Always finding ways to improve processes and workflows
  • Able to work well in a fast moving and constantly changing environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to take on a variety of tasks


  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (this increases at 3 years service to 25 days annual leave)

Location: Worcester, Worcestershire (free parking & commutable via public transport)

Salary: £30,000- £35,000
